Akure rescued child: Ondo government frowns at child abandonment

A girl rescued by officers of the Nigeria police force last Friday along idanre road in Akure is now receiving care at the Ondo state children correctional center in Ondo state capital. Still unable to talk as at the time of filing this report, the Girl was said to have been dumped by some yet to be identified people. In a chat with OSRC Reporter, Richard Ilesanmi, the director child development at the state ministry of women affairs and social development, Oluwale Ogunleye said the government has taken custody of the girl.
