Alleged rape: Court grants Ondo radio presenter bail

A Magistrate Court sitting in Akure, the Ondo State capital has granted bail to a Pastor, Gbenga Filani accused of raping a 19-year-old pregnant lady in his church on the 8th of December, 2021. Filani, a popular radio presenter was arraigned on two counts of rape and assault. OSRC’s Zaheed Aribisala reports that Magistrate Damilola Shekoni refused the application filled by the prosecution to remand the defendant.
