The APC primary for Akure south constituency 2 house of Assembly election has produced Mr Oluwarotimi Abitogun as the party’s flagbearer.
The exercise which started around 12noon had 24 delegates to vote for their preferred candidate.
Mr Oluwarotimi Abitogun and Mr Emmanuel Oyebode contested the election.
After voting, the electoral officer, Gbenga Jemiluyi announced that Mr Abitogun polled 17 votes while his rival Mr Oyebode polled 7 votes.
Security agencies including the Nigeria police force and NSCDC were on ground to monitor proceedings
