Appeal Court dismisses Jegede’s suit against Akeredolu

The Court of Appeal sitting in Akure on Wednesday dismissed the appeal filed by candidate of PDP, Eyitayo Jegede against the Tribunal judgment that upheld the victory of Oluwarotimi Akeredolu in the October 10, 2020 Ondo State governorship election. In a unanimous judgement delivered virtually, the five-man panel of Justices dismissed the appeal for lacking in merit.
