The wife of Ondo State Governor, Chief Mrs Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu has suspended all activities to mark her 70th birthday ceremony.
In a message on her Facebook page, the wife of the governor hinged the development on “unforeseen circumstances beyond my control.”
“Hello Family and Friends.
This is to inform you that all activities lined up to mark my 70th birthday are hereby suspended till further notice due to unforeseen circumstances beyond my control. Sorry for any inconvenience caused by this development. Nevertheless, be assured that I will be celebrated in style upon my return. Thank you for your understanding.
I remain Arabinrin a.k.a Ada Owere I.” She wrote
The 70th birthday would have taken place on the 20th July, 2023.
Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu was born 20 July 1953. She is an aquaculturist, philanthropist, and the First lady of Ondo State.
She is a feminist and gender activist. She is married to governor Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu.
She is the founder of the Breast Cancer Association of Nigeria.
