The Nigerian Association of Resident Doctors, NARD, has suspended its ongoing strike today.
The President of the Association, Dr Emeka Innocent Orji who disclosed this to newsmen in Abuja said Work across all hospitals is to resume 8am tomorrow as the Association would review progress made in 2 weeks.
The suspension is coming after the Association’s meeting with the National Executive Council NEC, early this week.
The Nigerian Association of Resident Doctors had declared a total and indefinite strike action on July 25, 2023, over several demands including an increase in wages for doctors.
