Four members of an 8 man gang that allegedly killed Mrs Funke Olakunri, daughter of Afenifere leader, Pa Rueben Fasoranti in July last year have been remanded at the Owo facility of the Nigerian Correctional Service, by an Ondo state Chief Magistrate court sitting in Akure.
The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs Victoria Bob-Manuel who ordered their remand, also granted an application of the prosecution for a COVID-19 test for the suspects.
Shola Ilesanmi reports that the deceased’s husband, Mr Idowu Olakunri wept in court and expressed optimism of getting justice.
