5000 in Nigeria, the Vice Chancellor of the University of Medical Sciences, UNIMED, Ondo, Prof Adesegun Fatusi has canvassed more collective efforts to reduce community transmission of the virus.
Fatusi, a Profesor of Community Medicine and Public health said strict adherence to the stay at home order, personal and respiratory hygiene as well as use of face masks are needed at this critical time.
Professor Fatusi also canvassed a stronger health system in Nigeria that can appropriately tackle present challenges and mitigate the effect of future occurrence.
