Divergent opinions trail media parade of suspects by security agencies

Some Akure based legal practitioners want a judicial framework that will ban media parade of suspected criminals by security agencies especially the Police before their trial in the court of law.

Those who spoke with our reporter, Richard Ilesanmi said the move becomes necessary to protect Nigerians from dehumanization.

They posited that the practice is not consistent with provision of the laws which presumed a suspect innocent until found guilty by a court of competent jurisdiction.
