After initial hiccups in the Peoples Democratic Party’s governorship primary election in ekiti state, a former chairman of the Party,
Bisi Kolawole has emerged winner.
Kolawole defeated a former governor of the state, Segun Oni, the Party’s candidate in the last governorship election Prof. Kolapo Olusola-Eleka, the immediate past Deputy Governor, Wale Aribisala and others contestants.
A prominent contestant, senator Abiodun Olujimi had earlier withdrawn from the election due to what she described as open disenfranchisement.
