The Governor of Ondo State, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, says no nation can attain any tangible development without the contributions of the women folk.
Akeredolu who was the special guest of honour, at the opening of the third summit of the Foundation for Wives of Ondo State Officials, FOWOSO, in Akure, said government will continue to empower women for sustainable development.
The governor, who applauded the initiatives of FOWOSO, thanked his wife, Betty for changing the narratives of women in the state.
Government House correspondent, Wahab Bankole reports that the summit was declared open by the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwolu.
