Hearing in the trial of the four defendants charged for the murder of Funke Olakunri, daughter of Afenifere leader, Rueben Fasoranti on the 12th July 2019 at the toll gate axis of the Ore-Sagamu Express way has finally commenced at the Ondo State High Court in Akure.
They were docked on a 9 count charge including conspiracy to murder, murder, armed robbery, and kidnapping punishable under relevant laws in the state and country and they all pleaded not guilty.
OSRC’s Shola Ilesanmi reports that the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Adekola Olawoye who is leading prosecution for the state said 10 witnesses and about 15 exhibits have been listed for the case.
