Human and vehicular movements were disrupted on Monday when the Students of the Federal University of Technology Akure FUTA protested over alleged attacks on them by some miscreants in the town.
Thr Students who blocked the road block and FUTA north gate axis of Akure-Ilesha expressway said they embarked on the protests to draw government and public attention to their persistent ordeal.
OSRC’s Omorinola Hungbeji reports that security agencies were on ground to ensure that the students’ outcry did not snowball into lawlessness.
