Professor Adenike Oladiji has assumed office as the 8th substantive vice chancellor of the Federal University of Technology, Akure. At her inauguration on Tuesday, Professor Oladiji promised to prioritize staff and students welfare, deepen academic culture and enhance the institution’s overall development. OSRC’s Zaheed Aribisala reports that Oladiji is the first woman to occupy the position in the history of the institution.
