Gov. Akeredolu assures workers of end to irregular salary payment

Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has assured Ondo state public servants that the problem of irregular payment of salaries will soon be overcome to further encourage the workers to do their best. The governor also urged workers to get involved in the various initiatives aimed at refocusing the service for improved performance and excellent service delivery in line with his government’s redeemed agenda. Governor Akeredolu was speaking at this year’s workers’ day commemoration in Akure, the state capital. OSRC’s Richard Ilésanmí reports that the governor was represented by the commissioner for finance, Mr Wale Akinterinwa.
