Gunmen have killed a lecturer at the Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, Anambra State, Professor Anthony Eze.
Profesor Eze of the Faculty of Education was reportedly killed in the early hours of Tuesday.
It was gathered that the assailants stormed the deceased’s residence in Awka with a Toyota Corolla salon car, shooting him at close range.
A resident of the area (names withheld)said the deceased attempted to flee on sighting the assailants who rushed and shot him repeatedly in the chest.
