Indigenes of Ikare Akoko have trooped out in large number to celebrate the 2023 edition of the annual Olokemeji Tako Tabo festival.
The festival has its roots in the symbolic role of the hilltop which according to tradition served as the first settlement ment for Ikare people and a place of refuge in trying times
The Owa Ale of Ikare Akoko Oba Adeleke Adedoyin Adegbite offered prayers for the entire community and Nigeria with a charge to Government to harness the tourism potentials of the festival.
