The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has released Results of the National Assembly election conducted on February 25 in Rivers State.
The electoral body announced the results through the commission’s Public Affairs Officer, Geraldine Ekelemu, in Port Harcourt.
The results showed that the three senatorial seats were won by the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
The All Progressives Congress, APC won only Okrika/Ogubuolo seat in the green chamber while Peoples Democratic Party won nine seats and Labour Party won one seat.
The state Resident Electoral Commissioner Dr Johnson Alalibo had earlier said the results of the National Assembly election would be suspended and reviewed due to reports of irregularity.
