INEC distributes sensitive materials for Akure by-election

The Independent National Electoral Commission, (INEC) has distributed sensitive materials to Akure South and North Local Government Areas ahead Saturday’s by-election in the Federal Constituency. The materials, earlier put up for safe-keeping with the Central Bank of Nigeria in the State capital, were transported to INEC warehouse in the two local government areas where they will be moved to 408 polling units in Akure South and Akure North Federal Consituency on election day. OSRC’s Richard Ilesanmi reports that agents of political parties taking part in the election observed the process of distribution.
