Landlords in Isinigbo community, Akure north local government area of Ondo have cried out to governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu to halt further demolition of their houses by a monarch in the area.
Protesting the destruction of their houses, the landlords said the intervention of the governor is urgently needed to prevent further breach of peace and possible bloodshed.
OSRC TV’s Richard Ilesanmi reports that the protesters blocked the Akure-Ado road but was later opened to traffic on the intervention of the police and the council chairman who called for calm.
