The National Parent Teacher Association of Nigeria has honoured governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu as the most performing governor in the country.
At a ceremony in Akure, the national president of the association, Alhaji Danjuma Haruna said Governor Akeredolu has distinguished himself among his peers to get the national recognition particularly for his efforts at promoting educational development.
Government House Correspondent, Wahab Bankole, reports that Governor Akeredolu was also honoured as the grand patron of the association and the Senior Advocate of the Masses.
