The Ondo State House of Assembly has removed its Chairman, House Committee on Finance and Appropriation in the Ondo State House of Assembly, Hon Sunday Olajide.
A statement by the Assembly’s Spokesman, says it was part of efforts to rejig the finance and appropriation house committee ahead of 2023 budget defence.

The Chairman, House Committee on Finance and Appropriation in the Ondo State House of Assembly, Hon Sunday Olajide has ceased to be the Chairman House Committee on Finance and Appropriation,this position was taken unanimously by all the 17 Members present at a Parliamentary Meeting held Today 24th November, 2023.
Hon. Akintomide Akinrogunde the erstwhile Vice Chairman House of the Committee was asked to step in immediately as the New Chairman of the Committee.
