This is to inform the general public that AIG Adebowale Williams psc (+), fdc has assumed office as the 7th Assistant Inspector General of Police in charge of Zone 17 comprising Ondo state and Ekiti state. He assumed office following the redeployment of his predecessor, AIG Ebong E Ebong psc(+), mni to Zone 4 headquarters, Makurdi.
The new AIG hails from Akure South LGA Ondo State.
He holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree in Political Science, Master of Science (M.Sc) degree in Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution, and a (Bachelor of Law degree) LL.B in Law. He was enlisted into the Nigeria Police Force on the 18th of May, 1992.
