Farmers in Ondo state have drummed their support for Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu’s order directing illegal herdsmen to vacate government forest reserves within seven days. The farmers who spoke through the chairman of the Ondo State Agricultural Commodities Association, Gbenga Obaweya during a solidarity rally for Akeredolu in Akure, said the order has brought hope following the nefarious acts of the herdsmen on their farmlands. OSRC’s Omorinola Hungbeji reports that forest guards, NURTW members and other stakeholders joined the solidarity march.
