Efforts are ongoing by Stakeholders in Ondo State to ensure that rural roads are given adequate attention towards achieving food sufficiency in the state.
To this end Ondo State Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project (RAAMP) with the support of World Bank and French Development Agency embarked on a Stakeholders’ Workshop on Road Sector Reforms in Akure, the state capital to sensitize those concerned on the need to maintain rural roads after construction.
Omorinola Hungbeji reports that the meeting was also part of processes required towards execution of legislative bills for Rural Access Road Authority RARA in Ondo State.
