The Chairman of Ose Local Government, Dennis Adekunle has called for calm over the alleged killing of a Naval Officer attached to Nigeria Navy Secondary School, Imeri.
While condemning the gruesome murder of the young officer by yet to be identified persons, the Chairman assured the school authority of the cooperation of the council and the community in dousing the tension.
He however appealed to the school authority to please apply minimum force in searching for the perpetrators of the dastardly act in the interest of peace.
The Chairman while thanking the school authority for its peaceful co-existence with the communities around the school since the establishment of the school prayer for maintenance of such cordial relationship.
