The Chapel of Grace, Government House, Akure was filled with heartfelt worship and praise as members of the OSRC Media Group joined other congregants to thank God for His mercy, faithfulness, and grace over their lives and Ondo State.
The Director-General and Chief Executive Officer of the OSRC Media Group, Mr. Kenneth Odusola-Stevenson, led members of staff to the thanksgiving service, expressing gratitude to God for the privilege of gathering once again at the Chapel of Grace.
Delivering the sermon titled “The Power of Choice,” the officiating minister, Pastor Oluwatobi Oke, explained that choices are human responsibilities with the power to shape, redirect, or even alter destiny, regardless of how well it may appear to have been written.
Reading from Deuteronomy chapter 30, verses 15 to 20, Pastor Oke admonished the congregation to remain in constant alignment with God in order to make choices that conform to His will and lead to life, purpose, and fulfilment.
In his exhortation, the Governor of Ondo State, Dr. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, described the month of February as a season of jubilation and emancipation, as he congratulated the people of the state on the 50th anniversary of Ondo State.
The Governor also encouraged the congregation to consistently make the right choices by depending on God for guidance, while also urging them to pray continually for leaders at all levels of governance.
The Director-General and Chief Executive Officer of the OSRC Media Group, Mr. Kenneth Odusola-Stevenson, represented by his Technical Adviser, Mr. Collins Olagundoye, expressed appreciation to God for His faithfulness and sustaining grace over the media organization.
Other members of staff expressed joy over the opportunity to worship at the Chapel and commended the timely spiritual admonitions delivered by the Governor and the officiating minister.
The service concluded with special prayers for Ondo State, the Governor, and the people, committing the affairs of the state into the hands of God.
