Owo hosts dignitaries as Governor Akeredolu celebrates mother at 90

The ancient town of Ọwọ in Ọwọ Local Government Area of Òndó state played host to dignitaries from all walks of life who joined governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu and his siblings for the thanksgiving service commemorating the 90th birthday of their mother, Lady Evangelist Grace Akeredolu. In his sermon at the Cathedral Church of St. Andrews, Imola, Ọwọ, venue of the thanksgiving service, Bishop of Ọwọ Anglican Diocese, Rt. Reverend Stephen Fagbemi, who spoke on “celebrating 90 years of uncommon grace in the life of grace”, noted that it is God that has preserved and caused Lady Evangelist Grace Akeredolu to see the celebration. Government House Correspondent, Wahab Bankole reports that the Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum, Dr. Kayode Fayemi coordinated the cutting of the birthday cake.
