It was a busy day on Monday as the political space in ondo state was dominated by the visits of two prominent All Progressives Congress presidential aspirants , Vice president Yemi Osinbajo and the minister of transport Rotimi Amaechi to akure the state capital.
The caller was Mr. Amaechi who visited governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu , met the party leadership before paying homage to the Deji, oba Aladetoyinbo Aladelusi.
For the Vice president who is equally taking a shot at the Presidency, he was received at the Akure Airport, held a private meeting with governor before they jointly addressed a gathering at the Cocoa Conference Hall.
Prof. Osinbajo thereafter proceeded to the palace of the Deji from where he departed.
Such visits of other aspirants would still embarked on are steps toward the delegates conference ofthe ruling party where a flag bearer would be elected for the 2023 presidential election.
