A professor of political science, Femi Mimiko has advocated strong institutions in Nigeria and other African countries to check leaders’ abuse of power and strengthen democracy on the Continent.
Prof. Mimiko while reacting to recent events in the U.S. said the incumbent President Trump could not have his way in the country’s unfolded events because of the strong institutions in place.
OSRC’s Richard Ilesanmi reports that Prof. Mimiko also called for regular reform of political system of every country.
