The governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has inaugurated Nigeria’s first drivers/riders’ Institute in the state in furtherance of his government’s efforts at ensuring safety on roads. Located at Oba-Ile in Akure North Local Government Area, the Institute will be used to build the capacity of motorists and riders in the state to reduce road carnages. OSRC’s Oluwayemisi Obamuwagun reports that Akeredolu said the safety of lives and property of citizens remains a top priority of his administration.
