The management of Sunshine Stars Football Club, Akure has announced that the team will embark on a two-week break effective, 14th June, 2023.
A statement by the club’s media officer Michael Akintunde states that players retained for next season’s program are expected to resume July 1, 2023.
Sunshine Stars wish coaches and players of the club journey mercies to and from their various destinations urging them to stay safe and fit.
The Akure-based soccer club finished 4th in the 2022/2023 season of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
