World champion Tobi Amusan won her second consecutive Diamond League meet in Silesia, blazing to a Meeting Record and Season’s Best of 12.34s.

World Record (WR) holder Tobi Amusan is hitting her top form at the right time after storming to a Meeting Record (MR) of 12.34s (0.9) to win the women’s 100m Hurdles at the Silesia Diamond League.

Amusan edged former (WR) holder Keni Harrison on the line in12.35s and newly crowned US champion Nia Ali in 12.38s.

Jamaican champion Megan Tapper finished fourth ahead of her compatriot Danielle Williams in fifth.

The Nigerian’s time is her fastest this season, equaled Jasmine Camacho-Quinn’s MR, and propels her to the top of the Diamond League standings as she continues her build-up to a third successful title defense.

Also, her victory is her second consecutive Diamond League win, having succeeded in Stockholm.

She is now seven points ahead of Camacho-Quinn, who for the first time, didn’t feature in a Diamond League meet this season.
