The member-elect for Jalingo, Yerro, and Zing Federal Constituency in the National Assembly from Taraba State, Isma’ila Yusha’u Maihanchi is dead.
The deceased defeated the incumbent House of Representatives member, Hon. Kasimu Maigari who was elected in 2019.
Family sources confirmed the death adding that Maihanchi died in the early hours of Saturday in Abuja during a brief illness.
He died at the age of 37 and was survived by a wife, son, and parents.
The funeral prayer will hold today 22/4/2023 at the National Mosque in Abuja after the zuhur prayer according to Islamic rites.
The October 22, 1986, born politician and businessman was elected in the just-held general elections under the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
