There are strong indications that the Academic Staff Union of Universities ( ASUU) may suspend its eight month strike any moment from now.
Lawyer to the Union, Femi Falana said in Lagos that the strike maybe called off in a matter of hours.
ISpeaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila after a meeting with the ASUU President , Professor Emmanuel Osodeke hinted that the industrial action would be called off within hours or few days.
Asuu’ s President, Professor Osodeke was also quoted to have said ” there is light at the end of the tunnel”
It was gathered that President Muhammadu Buhari has met some of ASUU’S Demands as part of an out of court settlement.
