Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has flagged off the distribution of insecticide treated nets in Ondo state in continuation of the war against malaria.
At the ceremony in Akure, the state capital, Governor Akeredolu encouraged residents to make use of the treated nets as the state is determined to partner relevant agencies in reducing malaria to zero level.
OSRC’s Omorinola Hungbeji reports that Under the Programme, over three million nets are expected to be distributed to households in the 18 local government areas of the state.
