Armed men suspected to be kidnappers have stormed Abdulsalam Abubakar General Hospital Hospital,Gulu in Lapai local government council of Niger state allegedly killing two persons and abducted several others including the hospital Doctor and Pharmacist.
The incident reportedly occoured today around 2: am when the bandits raided the hospital at Gulu. and started shooting sporadically to scare the villagers.
Report says they came in their numbers shooting sporadically to scare the villagers while carrying out their operations without resistance from the security agents or vigilantees.
One of the persons killed was said to be a retired medical personnel who resided opposite the hospital This is the fourth time kidnappers would be attacking different communities within the area thereby hightening tension among people living in the area.
They called for immediate support from Niger state government security agencies and Vigilante members to address the problem before it escalates further.Police Public Relations Officer, Niger state command DSP Wasiu Abiodun who said he would investigate the matter asked for time to critically study the development for necessary action.
