A 500-level student of the Federal University of Technology, Akure, FUTA has reportedly died overnight of Friday, August 25, 2023.
It was gathered that the student (names withheld) was rushed to the University Health Centre but was allegedly not attended to due to failure of his colleagues to provide a means of identification of him as a student of the University.
Sources close to the Health Centre refuted the allegations of neglect of the patient by the health facility.
The School authorities are yet to confirm the development.
