BREAKING: Electricity Workers Suspend Strike

The National Union of Electricity Employees (NUEE) has suspended it’s ongoing strike, Nigerian cable news online has gathered.The resolution to suspend the strike, it was gathered was reached, after conciliation meeting between the Federal government and the striking electricity workers ended in Abuja.At the end of the three-hour long meeting, the workers reportedly agreed to suspend the industrial action which has thrown the country into a total blackout.The workers express optimism that government will listen to the voice of reasoning and priotise their welfare and wellbeing.
