In a bid to promote the rich cultural heritage and tourism potentials of Ondo State, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism has initiated a strategic partnership with the Ondo State Radiovision Corporation (OSRC) Media Group. This collaboration, which was formalized during a courtesy visit by the Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Hon. Afolabi Adesoji, to the OSRC headquarters in Akure, aims to project the state’s unique cultural identity and creative industry initiatives to a wider audience.
The partnership is expected to encompass content development, documentaries, cultural features, and event coverage that will spotlight the state’s cultural pride and tourism assets. By leveraging the strengths of both institutions, the Ministry and OSRC Media Group are poised to develop joint programs, promote cultural events, and foster capacity building within the state’s creative sector.
The Director General/Chief Executive of OSRC Media Group, Kenneth Odusola-Stevenson, commended the Commissioner for the initiative, describing it as a step in the right direction towards strengthening inter-agency collaboration in line with the vision of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa. This renewed synergy between the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and OSRC Media Group signals a shared commitment to promoting Ondo State’s cultural and tourism potentials to the world.
