Normalcy is gradually returning to Akungba community following Friday’s accident opposite Adekunle Ajasin University’s main gate.

The accident occurred after a truck conveying cement had a brake failure while descending the hilly part of the university community and rammed into a stationary truck which resulted to an inferno.

OSRC’s Shola Ilesanmi reports that two burnt corpses recovered from the inferno have been deposited at the morgue while residents sought government’s intervention to reduce frequent crashes on the route.
