The driver of the Benin Electricity Distribution Company, BEDC, Mr Seun Emmanuel kidnapped in Ondo state has regained his freedom. Some unknown gunmen had abducted the driver working with the Benin Electricity Distribution Company, BEDC, along Owo-Ifon road in the state and demanded N10milion for his release.
It was gathered that Emmanuel regained his freedom after an unspecified amount of money was raised by staff of the company to secure the release of their colleague.
A family source told newsmen that Emmanuel is currently receiving medical attention at an undisclosed hospital.He was abducted by kidnappers along Owo-Ifon road in Ose Local Government Area of the state while he and his boss were returning to Akure on Monday evening from an official trip.
