Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL 2024/25 season will kick off on Saturday, 31st August, 2024.
This was disclosed to the media on Wednesday evening by Hon. Gbenga Elegbeleye, the chairman of the league body, as he also informed that the draw for the league fixtures will be made soon.
“I am glad that the NPFL 2024/25 season will commence on Saturday, 31st August, 2024,” Hon. Elegbeleye said.
“The draw event for the league fixtures involving the 20 participating teams will be made soon,” he added.
The 2023/24 NPFL season which ended last weekend produced Rangers International of Enugu as champions with 70points. Remo Stars came 2nd with 65 points, while former champions, Enyimba International FC settled for the 3rd position with 63 points.
