Afenifere leader, Pa Reuben Fasoranti has said the meeting of the Socio- political group will henceforth be held in Akure, the Ondo State capital.
According to him,leaders of the group will no longer converge on Isoya Ogbo,the Ijebu home of the Acting leader, Chief Ayo Adebanjo.Observers believe that this development may be an indication that Chief Adebanjo may have ceased to be the acting leader of the Pan Yoruba Socio- political group.
Breaking……..Fraud:Efcc arrests kogi lawmaker in possession of over 300million cash.
EFCC, has arrested the Kogi State House of Assembly candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, Ismaila Yusuf Atumeyi with N326million and $ 140,500 cash.Atumeyi who is seeking to represent Ankpa 11 Constituency in the Kogi State House of Assembly was arrested on Sunday, October 30, 2022 alongside one Joshua Dominic, an alleged serial fraudster, in a sting operation at Macedonia Street, Queens Estate, Karsana, Gwarinpa, Abuja.
Also arrested in connection with the Fraud is Abdumalik Salau Femi, a former bank employee, who allegedly supplied the inside information that facilitated the attack on the bank by the syndicate. He was picked up on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at Radisson Blu Hotel in Lagos.
Following his arrest, a search was conducted on his home in Morgan Estate, Ojodu where a total of $470,000 USD was recovered.The arrest of the suspects followed months of investigation into the hacking of one of the commercial banks by a syndicate of fraudsters who pulled off a heist of N1.4billion.

Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party and former Vice President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar has appointed Ibrahim Zango as his Principal Secretary.Zango’s appointment was announced in a letter personally signed by the PDP’s presidential flag bearer.
The appointee, an indigene of Katsina State is a seasoned public officer who has served Nigeria in foreign missions including the United Kingdom, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, among others.Zango was the Chief Protocol Officer at the Presidential Villa between 2001 and 2002. New Update: DAVIDO: Ifeanyi’s Nanny, Cook, Seven Others In Police Net
At least nine persons, including Ifeanyi’s nanny and cook, have been arrested by the police in Lagos State in connection with his death.
Ifeanyi, the three year old son of singer Davido, drowned on Monday inside the family’s swimming pool in Banana Island, Lagos.
It was gathered that both Davido and chef Chioma were on a trip, when the unfortunate incident occurred.
According to a source about nine people have been arrested for negligence, including his nanny and their cook.
Chioma is broken. David is in tears. They are both at his dad’s house in Lekki and nobody from is allowed there.”
“His 30th birthday plans have been put on hold. The real story is crazy. How did the kid opened a huge thick door and got outside, nobody knows. The arrested people are criminally negligent.”A source said
The Adeleke family is yet to make official statement on the death of Ifeanyi.
News flash:Davido’s 3yr-Old Son, Ifeanyi Drowns In Swimming Pool
Nigerian music star, Davido and his partner, Chioma have lost their three-year-old son, Ifeanyi.
Ifeanyi reportedly drowned in a swimming pool at his residence in the Banana Island area of Lagos State.
Ifeanyi who was born in 2019 was said to have been underwater for a very long time before being spotted and rushed to a hospital in the Lekki area of the state, he was, however, confirmed dead on arrival.
The horrific incident happened on Monday night, a few days after his third birthday (October 20).
Though the Adeleke’s family is yet to make any official statement, several celebrities posted cryptic messages on their social media page, which many saw as a confirmation of the news.
Hours after the news broke, Iyabo Ojo, Ay Comedian, William Uchemba, Paul Okoye and several other celebrities all shared condolences.
Details of the incident are still sketchy but reports indicate the news became widespread through a now-deleted post from Nollywood actress, Eniola Badmus.

Nigeria’s first Aviation Minister and prominent member of the Zikist Movement, Chief Mbazulike Amaechi is dead.
He died on Tuesday morning in his home town of Ukpor in Anambra State, aged 93.
Chief Amaechi who was popularly known as The Boy Is Good, recently led a delegation of prominent Igbo leaders to Aso Rock where he made a case for the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu.
