The Amotekun Corps in collaboration with other Security agencies in Ondo State have bursted hideouts of kidnappers and other suspected criminal elements in Ondo State during the just concluded Eld-el-fitr holidays,reigning in many suspected criminals
The operations still ongoing and which will last one week have so far yielded positive results as 37 suspected kidnappers, armed robbers and other suspected criminals were apprehended at different locations in the State.

Commander of Amotekun Corps, Akogun Adetunji Adeleye ,parading the suspects to newsmen at the Corps Headquarters in Akure said, the patrol which was held simultaneously across the state, was part of efforts put in place by the state government to ensure a crime-free Eid-El-Fitr celebration.
According to him, the patrol which started since Friday last week, will continue till Thursday, 5th May, to make it a full week exercise to rid Ondo State and its environs of criminal elements.
He affirmed that Security agencies in the state have a robust working relationship which has helped greatly in stemming crime and urged members of the public to support them in coming up with useful information at all times on unscrupulous elements in their environment.
