It was Carnival like as Residents and party faithful trooped to Akure Airport to welcome President Muhammadu Buhari to the state capital.

The president was in the state for the inauguration of Ore flyover and Ondo Liyin.

Security of lives and property remains sacrosanct in enhancing good governance and peaceful coexistence in society.

This is one of the reasons Operation Amotekun was launched by Southwest Governors in a bid to support other security outfit in maintaining law and other in the region.

And to give it a legal backing the Ondo state house of Assembly held a public hearing with all stakeholders including Traditional rulers in the state on a Bill to establish the Amotekun Corps in the State.

Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo has advised Nigerians to always contribute their quota to the development of the country for posterity.

Professor Osinbajo gave the advice at the final burial ceremony of Mrs Muinat Deborah Mimiko, mother of former Governor of Ondo State, Dr Olusegun Mimiko in Ondo town.

The ultra modern revenue house complex on Igbatoro road in Akure constructed by the present administration in Ondo state is ready for use.

The new complex with all the trappings of a corporate environment is one of the star projects for the third anniversary of the Oluwarotimi Akeredolu government.
