At the resumed hearing of his case alongside six other church members, Chief Magistrate Charity Adeyanju again adjourned sitting till Feb 5 2020 after Director of Public Prosecution hinted of an application on the case at the state high court.

The Governor of Ondo State, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN has received his Electronic Tax Clearance Certificate, E-TCC from the state Internal Revenue Service.
Governor Akeredolu who said that the Electronic Tax Clearance Certificate, would henceforth be a required document for anyone to transact business with the state government, advised all eligible tax payers in the state to generate the document.

Governor Akeredolu, who was at the Presidential Villa on a visit to President Muhammadu Buhari, told State House Correspondents that he came to formally invite the president to commission the Ore flyover which is among several projects to be commissioned to mark the 3rd anniversary of his administration.
He said the formation of the Southwest security outfit codenamed Amotekun was not for his reelection bid.
Akeredolu, who is also the chairman of the south west governors forum, said: “Ondo state has already done enough in terms of security and I do not really need Amotekun to be reelected for a second term as governor.”
He urged the Federal Government to legalise the use of marijuana solely for the production of CBD drugs in the country.
The Governor said CBD can be extracted from marijuana and is a potent drug in the treatment of cancer.Â
He expressed concern that Nigeria still spends a huge amount of money importing the drug when it can be produced locally.
Making safe and clean water available to the people of ondo state has been one of the major preoccupations of the present administration since it came on board.
In furtherance of this effort, the government has put in place self prepaid facilities that allow residents to get water with an automated card under the kamomi aketi urban scheme.
The facilities now operational in Akure, the state capital are expected to be replicated in major cities across the state
